Hi, I'm Sydan! (Sid-dahn)

My name is based on the Finnish word for 'heart': Sydän💚
I focus on the heart chakra because it is the loving bridge between the lower and upper chakras and it helps us connect to ourselves and each other. Also, the heart itself is the first organ that develops as we grow into baby humans from embryo in the womb. I firmly believe that the healing and alignment of our own heart chakras can and will lead to a better life experience for everyone.
I spent many years living as I was told I should live: learn skills that would make me money and spend my life doing that. Having been led to believe that this was all there was to life made me a miserable person that resorted to destructive habits to numb the pain I felt on a daily basis.
After spending more than 3 decades in the Tech industry and realizing that it really wasn't in alignment with who I was authentically, I started looking into healing modalities that also connected me with spirit. I started vocal toning with the shruti box and then using crystal singing bowls and realized how quickly I could enter a state of calm. They became the preferred way for me to continue on a journey of healing and discovery that I was already on and I found it so powerfully effective that I decided to share it. With help of this work, I have the highest confidence that we can make strides to effectively eradicate houselessness, starvation, violence and poverty from this world.
By hearing, heeding and finally acting on the call of Source upon my life, my mission is as follows:

Ask me about group sessions or 1:1 experiences. Right now, at Psanctum Thrift we are doing weekly group sessions every Friday at 130p PST and at New Renaissance Bookstore every 2nd Friday of the month starting July 12 at 7pm.
Under the Sound & Shadow Collective umbrella, we are also hosting shadow circles in Laurelhurst park where we talk about shadow with the Gene Keys and vocal tone through the chakras with the shruti box. Every Thursday at Laurelhurst Park by the bathroom building. You can't miss the tent. Starts at 715p.
